Happy Happy Birthday Ammon Dear!

Ammon's first birthday party was Saturday.....what a day. Have you ever noticed how much work and stress it is to put something together to provide our children with memories and experiences......even at the age of one, Ammon can look at pictures in 20 yrs and see a birthday party but there are no pictures that show the stress, work and sunburns that went into it!! But in the end it is all soooooo rewarding and totally worth it!!
We held it at Bransom Elementary School and it was a perfect location (except for the wind). Great pavilion, huge playground, soccer fields, basketball goals, there was no shortage of fun for the kiddos.....
He wasn't sure what to do with this at first....but he's a quick learner!!
The cake is completely gone today by the way. He ate the entire thing in two sittings!! Mommy may have helped a little.....
Ammon got soooooo many great presents, thank you thank you thank you to all of you that were there and all your generosity!! Ammon is truly having a blast with all his new stuff!!
After the party was over we came home and December, Ethan, Alan and Ammon partied some more. Here they are shooting "poppers." Those thingies that you pull the string and stringer paper shoots out....
That is Jason back there waiting for the second the pictures were done to tell the kids to put the noise makers down.....the sounds of them was making our dogs in the backyard howl!
Ethan & Ammon playing with the new toys.
We had SOOOO many balloons because we bought them but the wind was to bad to put them out. So we got rid of some by having the kids write their number one wish down, tie it to a balloon and release it. The wishes included..... Meet Spiderman (Ethan), become a car (Alan & Ethan), have fun at Candyworld(?) (December). Poor Ethan, his wish was "too heavy" as Alan pointed out. It got stuck in a tree across the street!
All the kiddos, sitting still for a second.
Nothing like Popcorn and the movie Cars to keep them quiet for about an hour and a half.
